Red zone and increased quarantine restrictions
Strict quarantine will be introduced in Ivano-Frankivsk region on Friday, February 26. The decision on the "red zone" was made by the state commission on technogenic and ecological safety and emergencies.

"Our region does not cope with the number of patients in need of hospitalization. There are still vacancies in the city for inpatient treatment. But the situation is tense, especially with the seriously ill, "said Ivano-Frankivsk Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv.

Therefore, the following restrictions on the red zone will be introduced on February 26:

Shopping and entertainment centers and industrial shops are closing.
Hairdressers and salons will be open by appointment only.
All educational institutions must switch to distance learning or close.
Public transport will operate only in the mode of special transportation.
Interregional trains and buses will not run.
Restaurants and cafes, as now, will work to take away.
The shops will be occupied by those whose 60% of the area is intended for food, medicine, household chemicals, hygiene products, presses, animal feed (but other goods in such stores will continue to sell).
Mass events are prohibited.
