SATD to ensure maximum transparency of categorization will be broadcast online on their official Facebook page
The day before, the new composition of the Commission was approved, which included representatives of SATD, ICIP, the Commission for Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries, members of the public, specialists in the hotel and tourism industries.
So far, they have received 75 applications from hoteliers to determine the categories, in other words - the award of stars. Currently, such categories out of five thousand accommodation establishments in Ukraine have no more than two hundred. Most of the applications are submitted for the first time, some market participants have already expired their licenses, some need to be categorized to open gambling establishments.
DART plans to hold weekly commission meetings to review all applications as soon as possible.
